Open Question: Suzuki Hayabusa 1.3L engine in a car won't last?

Turbocharged or not.. They say that it has a low torque even for tiny cars like Classic Mini Cooper, Golf MK1, Fiat 126, etc.. I would like to know if this is true, if the 'Busa engine will not last because of the additional load of the car will force its engine internals to wear out more quickly and won't last like more than 25,000 km if you put it in the lightweight cars that I mentioned?

Open Question: Knee bruising, what to do?

I fell down ice skating the last week of December. I hit the side of my knee somehow on the ice. It is that tiny pocket on the outside of my knee that is indented. Odd place to hit it I know. It swelled until it was level with the relax of my knee. It got blue just in that area maybe the size of a golf ball I think. It stayed blue for a coulple days, then went purple and then went away like a normal bruise. The other day I was on my hands and knees and when I got up, my knee hurt very badly in the same place. It hurt for 2 days and the same bruise appeared. The bruise hasn't went away, it has spread lower and just my pants hitting the bruise hurts. I can't even shave over the area. Since I can walk on it fine and bend it, can something still be wrong? What can I do? I don't want this to happen everytime I put weight on my knee. Thanks for your time

Open Question: Dream about a walrus and a baboon...?

I had a dream that i was riding around in a golf cart taking pictures of things, in a parking lot. I was not driving the golf cart, i was the passenger. the driver and i were friends, although i cannot remember who the driver was and if they were male or female. We then (on the right side of the golf cart) saw a walrus. He was huge! and he was injured, like bleeding and had gashes and cuts in his skin. I had to convince my pal that it actually was a walrus since it was such an odd thing to look in a parking lot. We then took a right turn around some tennis courts and there was a giant baboon standing with his back to us, he was also injured and bleeding in some sort. I do not remember much after this except that i ended up going to the tennis courts and taking pictures from the top of the light poles. I vividly remember an aerial view of the courts. I guess my question is can anyone make sense of this? since i know that different animals represent certain things in dreams, but i also have a feeling that it is important that neither of them were in their natural habitats, nor were they healthy. I have an issue settling my feelings for these two boys I like. They're brothers. Bear with me..... My boyfriend and I live together, 200 miles away from his family and 100 miles away from my family. Because of financial reason, we can't afford to look them every weekend or every other weekend. We don't have anything tying us down, we live with my boyfriends mum and neither of us have anything stopping us from going to look everyone. I am at college 3 times a week and my boyfriend is looking for work, which as everyone knows, is impossible at the moment as there is nothing going. Anyway, we went to visit family in December around Christmas. He couldn't visit my family because he had to go into the job middle, which was fine although I was a bit annoyed because we have a family party and I wanted him to arrive along but oh well. I went to visit his family with him as they have a family party as well, so I made the effort to go down there. My boyfriend went golfing one day and was gone every day and I was annoyed but I got over. every he did was moan at me for being annoyed at him, as he was out and chatting to his family. Anyway, I'm going to visit family soon (after Valentines Day) and I want my boyfriend to arrive with me. He down right wont, he says he has too much pride to go over there without having a job over here. Open Question: Adding color to a shallow engraving?

Is there a way to add color to a shallow engraving on a stainless steel piece of jewelry? I have a bracelet and a dog tag pendent that have the words adore, TRUST, OPENNESS engraved on them. But the words just don't stand out very well. In an effort to receive the writing to stand out, I've done the following (utterly useless) things: The bracelet is from Things Remembered – they'll rub a gold, blue, or other colored glue into the engraving, but it doesn't really help. It barely shows up. I think it's because the engraving is too shallow. A guy who repairs golf putters suggested acrylic paints, but when I clean the non-engraved portion, it pretty much comes out of the engraved part too. I've tried it when the paint was wet, an after letting it dry. The acrylic paint just flakes off the stainless steel. There's a crayon like wax used to fill in scratches. Same problem as the others. I even used a Sharpie, but when you wipe the smooth metal, the engraved metal comes clean too. I was able to buy a black dog tag, which looks great, but I still want a stainless steel one. I'm not an artist, so anything that takes a really steady hand won't work for me, but I'd be glad to pay someone to do it. Does anyone out there know a reliable way to make the engraving another color? Thanks!

Open Question: Where can i find amateur golf tournaments around missouri?

I am looking for amateur golf tournaments in or around Missouri that I can enter that will earn me some points in the wagr (world amateur golf ranking). I have found a few tournaments however they don't state whether or not results will go towards the wagr. On the usga sites every I can find are college tournaments, does that mean because I am not in college I won't be able to become a ranked amateur golfer?

I got some pearl earrings (I'm a man) , a $10 subway gift card, a $60 golf jacket (I don't play golf), a Country Music CD, Lord of the Rings DVD, Dark Sector X360 game, a webcam with LED lights. every of the later 4 I traded in for more bids. Based on my following credentials, do you think I have a chance of making it to an Ivy League College? Oh, I am just a sophomore, but I'll have the following by the time a apply (I am aiming to attend Dartmouth) Sophomore PSAT score: 178 GPA: 4.75 Went to an every IB (International Baccalaureate) school Did golf for 3 years (varsity), soccer for 1 (jv), and track for 3(varsity). Average about 100 hours community service per year. Extra curricular stuff: Eagle Scout, drummer for 10 years, and did Wing Chun (martial art) for 8 years.

Hi I'm a guy and I'm 20... Well I don't have much time so I'll just receive to the point. I was being very sexist and ignorant to my female neighbor who is 48. I said she couldn't do anything because she was old and a lady.. Well we made a deal on a game of golf and I lost. So I am at her home as I type this.. Since I lost I have to wear her Sugar Plum Fairy costume(tiara, pink leotard and pink poofy sleeves, light pink tights, little pink tutu, and 6" pink pointy toe pumps) and I have to work as her maid and entertainment from now until midnight...... So she wants to know what she should have me do for the night while she has me as her entertainment and maid???? Also she has decided to call me Sugar Plum for the day..Do you think that this is a fair name that I should have to answer to as her maid?? Please vote thanks P.S. Open Question: I need help with weight loss?

Ok so I'm 26 5'9 and 320 lbs. I've always been big, I was very sick as a child and on a lot of medications and steroids which the doctors think could have an effect on my size and trouble losing weight. The doctors don't seem alarmed because I stay VERY active, play softball in the summer and fall, go golfing and don't use the cart, always running around with my nieces and nephews, ect. I just stay very active. I've also never been an over eater and not a junk food junky. But anyway, I am ready to make myself what I want to be at....I'd like to lose 50 lb by summer and another 50 by November. I just started a gym membership and have been pretty good about doing a 1/2 hour on the treadmill and about 20 mins on the elliptical. But I just don't think its enough. I need some suggestions...what to do, eat, drink, and vitamins? I've never ate alot...about the same as my friends. And I have never liked junk food snacks, hate potato chips and such..I eat alot of apples and kiwi when I want a snack. Also I don't drink pop it's usually water, flavored water (vitamin water), or coffee with splenda and non fat milk. Thank you everyone so far. And to Linus-- I don't over eat, I know this because I have in the past checked the amounts of what I eat. Growing up in my family, it was not ok to over eat...you got tiny portions of your food, and were monitored if we got seconds or not. With my health issues as a toddler and being on steroids my parents had to monitor what was consumed and how much because the medications and steroids for kids that I was on causes kids to feel like they are never full so my parents were warned early on from the doctors, it just became normal to continue it as I got older, and they followed it for our whole family to make it easier and keep things seeming "normal" for a very sick toddler. If I have a snack at every it's usually between lunch and dinner and typically fruits. With you being someone that was heavy at one time it's surprising that you would criticize someone like you have. Thank you everyone else for your support

Resolved Question: Lump due to vaccines?

Hello: My doggie (female, cocker spaniel, 5yrs old, 23lb, spayed) got her annual vaccines on Friday, and today Monday I noticed a big lump (half a size of a golf ball) on her right shoulder blade, I call the vet to tell him, so I took her over and he said to put hot compressions on her back and the swollen should go down, if not (if the lump goes bigger) he will have to drain it. So, I'm wondering why she got the lump, in 5 years of annual vaccines she never got this problem before. It is true that the hot compression will make the lump to disappear? is there something else that I can do? The only thing different is that I gave her a bath the evening when she got the vaccines (on Friday) and I did not feel anything and I was very gentle while I was bathing her, and I just noticed the lump today when I was petting her. Please if somebody could give an advice. Thank You.

Resolved Question: My gums are swollen across 1 side and are now the size of a golf ball, no toothache though, what can this be?

The swelling started yesterday and is now very very big. From the front it looks like the size of a golf ball. I don't have a toothache or anything so I don't know what this could be, please help.

Open Question: What should I do about my Final first Semester Freshman grades?

As of right now, I'm currently freaking out because I'm a student throughout middle school had a transcript of a solid 4.0. But now looking at my final transcript of my 1st semester of Freshman year, I'm panicking... Health: C+ Honors English: B- Honors Biology: D Geometry: C- Spanish 1: B Graphic Design: A The thing is, I am not dumb, and did every my work... and studied for every my quizzes and tests. But the classes were just challenging or had very strict teachers. For Honors biology and Geometry I'm a year ahead... and I feel like this is where every my time was spent in studying. Both subjects were very difficult for me. :( I tried to receive help and a tutor but I couldn't keep up with the pace. As of Health... My health teacher is insane, and doesn't tutor us anything. I really don't know what to do... My parents are going to be very upset, and the worst part is, I'm upset at myself... Do you think I can make it up this coming semester and the 3 other years I have left in High School? *I might have a chance to bring my grade in 8th grade from 9th grade science to replace the bio grade now, and redo bio over the summer. Also, I'm involved in many clubs... ASB, Key club, drama... etc. Sports: JV Soccer and hopefully soon Varsity Golf. And outside of school I volunteer for the community and local hospitals.

don't even know why I am telling a bunch of strangers about how much I hate my mom and why, but I am hoping yous can help me not want to stab her. -__- I used to think my mom was the greatest person in the world, and even better when she divorced my step dad when I was 11.Then she met this guy and she drove me and my big sister an hour out of town at 2am on a school night to look him. They dated for a little while, but he was a complete ass and she eventually just walked out. 2 weeks later she started dating my big sister's, boyfriends dad. It took a bit for my sister to finally arrive to terms with this, but she was seeing his brother behind his back. Then she met Simon when I was 13. She went out for dinner with him and promised me she'd be home before 8 as I was home alone. At 10:30 I called my sister and she came over with her boyfriend. I cried every night and didn't snooze a wink. At 5am mum came home, when Jess questioned her, she went off. At 17, my sister moved to QLD. I was so proud of her for getting away from mum. From 13 to 15, I witnessed stupid fights mum started for no reason. I got called nasty names. Got left nearly every weekend to babysit his daughters so he could go out drinking. Had to pack my stuff at 12am to go to some random's place and have mum tell me we're going to receive our possess home and be glad and then have her go back. This has happened about 40 times over the 3 years. Then a week before my 16th birthday, mum cancelled my sweet 16th, packed every my stuff in the car and we moved to QLD. I didn't even receive to say goodbye to my friends and boyfriend. I spent my 16th birthday crying. A week after we moved to QLD, she started dating this guy, 2 days after they started dating, we moved in. I went to look my dad for the first time in 13 years, and realised everything my mum ever told me he did, was a lie. He told me stories about mum. I have a scar on my eye, my mum told me my dad accidently hit me in the eye with a golf club. My dad has never played golf or been close a golf club in my life. My brother has a scar on his lower chest, mum tells me he got it from his appendix exploding, but I asked my dad about it, and it is most definitively not from his appendix exploding. -__- My mum also payed 2 man to kill my dad when I was a baby, but with luck, the man new my dad and refused to. When I was a toddler, my mum poisoned him. Luckily he lived. I don't remember anything from my childhood until I was 12, my psychologist thinks I blocked it every out due to trauma. Last week, she packed my stuff and we moved back to NSW to our old town so she could be with Simon again. She didn't even tell the guy she was with. She made me stay with my best mate for a week, which I was fine with, i needed a break. But she told me she told my dad we were leaving. She didn't, and I don't have the heart to tell him. She constantly yells at me for no reason. Takes my stuff. Blames me for her problems and makes me do everything. She never lets me have any nice of fun and she thinks i'm a lesbian every because I support gay rights. She also yells at me because she thinks I am gay because she hates homosexuals. I don't have enough money or a job to move out yet. I am looking for a job, but my social anxiety and lack of transportation makes it difficult. My 16th was 4 months ago, and so much shit has happened. I just want to stab my mum, what am I supposed to do?

Open Question: Can anyone give me tips for when I get to have my first Pelvic exam?

I have kidney problems, and three doctors have told me I need to have my first pelvic exam. I am 17 and a virgin...The only thing is, I used to be...touched by a pal's older brother, so what if my hymen isn't there anymore? Also, I always wash my vagina in the shower, but should I shave it before too? I know I have no one to impress, but I still don't want to embarrass myself by having a jungle down there.
